Since both the size and the number of drops have a decisive influence on the color complex to be formed, the dosage must be carried out extremely accurately. The shelf life of liquid reagents is limited by the temporary contact with atmospheric oxygen when the bottles are opened and by unsuitable storage conditions (sunlight, higher temperatures ) restricted.
