The Scherzo C18 phase is the first multi mode ODS phase on the market. Unlike common ODS columns Scherzo HPLC columns can be used without adding ion pair reagents. Furthermore these columns present anions as well as cations.
The hydrophobic property can be compared to other ODS HPLC columns. This way substance analysis combined with conventional ODS phases, like Unison UK-C18, are very effective for process development.
The Scherzo C18 product group can be divided into three packing specifications, which differ in ion capacity.
