Supelco® Analytical is a business unit of Sigma-Aldrich (a subsidiary of Merck since 2015), which specialises in chromatography. Supelco's HPLC product range includes e.g. Ascentis Express Fused-Core® HPLC columns and a new Fused-Core BIOshell™ column that improves protein and peptide analysis through reversed phases; as well as Ascentis Express columns that enable the analysis of low molecular weight compounds. Supelcosil™, Supelcogel™, Discovery® and Astec® are other well-known Supelco product lines.
Analytics-Shop offers more than 1,400 HPLC columns from Supelco at attractive conditions. You can also use our HPLC Column Configurator to search for and compare HPLC columns in seconds.

Whether conventional HPLC, UHPLC, or in the analysis of complex compounds, products of Sigma-Aldrich (formerly Supelco) are an essential part of modern analysis. Through continuous development and innovation, including the Fused-Core Technology, HPLC columns from Sigma-Aldrich are among the best in the world. In the following the best known and most common packing materials are described in detail.
Ascentis HPLC columns provide high purity, stability, and thus highly reproducible results. Modern binding processes optimize the stability of the phase, while undesirable secondary interactions are minimized. Depending on the separation problem you can choose from a wide range of possible phases to achieve the best separation result. Ascentis HPLC columns are ideal for the use in the LC-MS as in all other modern applications and are scalable form analytic to preparative.

Based on Fused-Core ® technology, Ascentis Express HPLC columns offer significant advantages compared to similar columns with fully-porous particles. Ascentis Express provides the speed and effectiveness of < 2 micron particles, but with half the pressure. Due the reduced pressure Ascentis Express columns can be used in conventional HPLC and LC-MS-, UPLC-, and ultra-high-pressure systems. The reduced pressure also allows the use of longer columns, enabling improved resolution. Ascentis Express columns combine all these significant properties with high load capacity and excellent durability.

Supelco/Sigma-Aldrich HPLC columns apHera have been developed to combine the advantages of silica and polystyrene columns. apHera HPLC columns offer the same separation efficiency, but additionally allow the benefits of using buffered and alkaline solutions. Furthermore, they allow to work in a pH range of 2-12. apHera amino-column based on covalently bound amino groups and are ideally optimized for use in the LC-MS. They also have been specially optimized for the separation of mono-and oligosaccharides.
