Greiner Bio-One Sapphire pipette tips

The pipette tips from the Sapphire product series are transparent, graduated and enable accurate and convenient pipetting due to their optimal fit. Sapphire pipette tips are available in eight different sizes ranging in volume from 10 μl to 1250 μl, including an extended 10 μl tip to accommodate smaller sample volumes. This is complemented by our macro tips for volumes up to 5 ml. This provides a high degree of flexibility for all liquid handling solutions.

All Sapphire tips meet uniform quality requirements regardless of type, surface or shape. The pipette tips are free of detectable DNase, RNase, human DNA, PCR inhibitors and endotoxins (pyrogens). They are also non-cytotoxic and tested according to ISO 8655-6.
Sapphire pipette tips are also available as low retention pipette tips, filter tips and low retention filter tips. Macro tips are also available.

Cell culture products and microplates from Greiner Bio-One

The CELLSTAR® product line offers solutions for most applications in cell biology, including propagating cells, performing cell-based assays and imaging procedures. Under the CELLSTAR® product line, Greiner Bio-One offers a wide range of cell culture flasks, dishes and plates in a variety of formats and with different surfaces. All cell culture products are labeled with expiration date and lot number to ensure complete traceability of the products throughout the entire production process.

CELLSTAR® cell culture flasks

Greiner Bio-One offers standard and filter top cell culture flasks with different surfaces. The filter insert provides both optimal protection against contamination and efficient gas exchange. The hydrophobic property of the membrane material PET / PTFE prevents wetting of the inside of the lid.
In addition to the filter screw cap, Greiner Bio-One offers a standard screw cap with a secured snap-in vent position that ensures gas exchange within the flask. The cell culture flasks have a slanted bottle neck and graduation on both sides.

All cell culture flasks are manufactured from high quality polystyrene and are free of detectable DNases, RNases, human DNA, endotoxins and are non-cytotoxic. The special design allows optimal access for cell scraper and pipette.

For the cultivation of adherent cells, Greiner Bio-One uses a specific physical surface treatment that enables the attachment and growth of these cells. Cell culture flasks with cell-repellent surfaces reliably prevent cell attachment in suspension cultures of semi-adherent and adherent cell lines, where the hydrophobic surfaces normally used for suspension cultures are not sufficient.

Greiner Bio-One cell culture tubes are made of crystal clear polystyrene and offer improved cell adhesion through physical surface treatment. The tubes are available with screw cap, bayonet cap or two-position vent plug.
