Thickness 0.4 mm. These coverslips are used to cover cell suspension in counting chambers. The cover slip is placed on the webs of the counting chamber and adheres there due to the flatness of the contact surfaces. It precisely limits the height of the capillary gap between the chamber bottom and the cover glass underside and defines the volume of the cell suspension above the counting network.
