The Kern OIV is a video microscope which was designed to optimize digital stereo microscopy. Our well thought-out complete solution for axial optics enables the direct and uncomplicated display of your samples on the screen
The LED incident light illumination (ring) included in the standard ensures optimal illumination of your sample
Coupled with the large work surface, the detection of objects on the screen is ideal suitable for observation, analysis and documentation in the industrial sector
The excellent optics enable consistently sharp image guidance within the entire zoom range of 0.7 × –5 ×
The 2.0 megapixel camera of the eyepiece-free microscope offers thanks to its HDMI output , a smooth live observation of your samples via the HD monitor. In addition, the intuitive software, the USB stick and the USB mouse, which are an integral part of the scope of delivery, allow easy digital processing and storage of your results. With the OIV 254 model, there is the possibility of image documentation at the push of a button, without the detour via the software. The OIV 255, on the other hand, guarantees software-controlled image and video recordings with additional and extensive measuring functions
