Liebig Condenser
Small heat exchange surface and thus relatively low cooling capacity.
Typical application: condenser for distillate separation
Bulb Condenser
The bulb condenser has a greater cooling surface than the liebig condenser and thus a higher cooling capacity.
Typical application: reflux condensation
Dimroth Condenser
The Dimorph condenser possesses a cooling helix and thus a greater cooling surface as the liebig condenser ans the bulb condenser

Duran® Jacketed Coil Condenser
This type of condenser has thus its coiled condenser and double jacket a very high cooling surface. The jacketed coil condenser is especially suited for working with lowballing media.
Typical application: Reflux condenser for condensation of lowballing media.
