Drying and heating ovens are used in research, industry and medicine for numerous applications. We carry a comprehensive selection of temperature control appliances from the quality manufacturer Memmert - from universal ovens, pass-through ovens and paraffin ovens to sterilizers, vacuum ovens and blanket warmers. The laboratory devices are available in different model variants with forced air circulation or natural convection and in numerous model sizes. User-friendliness, state-of-the-art communication interfaces and a maximum of safety functions are standard for all Memmert laboratory appliances. The universal ovens U from Memmert can also be extended with numerous special mechanical and electronic components, as well as specific software solutions.
Heating or drying ovens are used for a variety of applications: Examples are stability tests in the food industry, sample preparation in research, warm storage of building materials, plastics or components or the determination of dry content and moisture content (drying oven method). Typical applications also include the aging or tempering of plastics or metals as well as the heating of surgical drapes, blankets, rinsing solutions, etc. in clinics and hospitals.
The chamber load is exposed to certain temperatures inside the drying oven or heating cabinet at atmospheric pressure. The thermal energy is transferred to the load by convection and radiation.
Different heating systems apply, such as ring heaters, heating coils or all-round heating systems. The Memmert ovens are equipped with all-round heating behind the interior walls (full-surface heating). A big advantage of the all-round heating system is that the direct contact between heating fins and the insert plate ensures excellent heat transfer. Temperature distribution and temperature homogeneity can also be ideally achieved in this way - even when the heating oven is fully loaded. The higher the temperature and the drier the air inside, the faster the drying process.
Usually, drying ovens or warming cabinets are available either with natural convection or forced air circulation. Forced air circulation means that heat transfer (convection) and air exchange are accelerated by a fan that can be switched on, thus supporting homogeneous temperature distribution in the interior. The supply of fresh air can cause temperature fluctuations and thus change the properties of samples or extend drying times. The Memmert universal ovens counteract this by first heating the supply air in a preheating chamber and then adding it to the air in the interior.
At Anaytics-Shop.com, we stock drying and heating ovens, pass-through ovens, paraffin ovens, sterilizers, vacuum ovens and blanket warmers. In the following tables, you will find a description of Memmert laboratory devices and learn more about areas of application and product specifications.
The universal ovens cover a wide range of applications ideally in temperature ranges above +50 °C. Two model variants and nine model sizes, either with natural convection or forced air circulation, are available. Regardless of whether you want to carry out material tests, dry or age electronic components, or hardening plastic resin, Memmert ovens prvide the ideal solution for even and gentle temperature control.
Air exchange rates and air flap position can be controlled electronically via the ControlCockpit. More inlet and outlet openings lead to a higher air exchange and shorter drying times. Controlled ventilation setting is recommended or even mandatory for many applications: When drying powder, sand or corn, for example, undesirable swirls can be avoided by turning down the ventilation. When testing cables and pipes, on the other hand, defined air exchange rates are required. With the UFplus/UFmplus units, temperature/air change ramps can be easily programmed via the AtmoControl software.

The universal oven / heating oven Um from Memmert is a Class I medical product. The Um or Umplus heating oven can be used for heating fango, silicate and APS packs in physiotherapy and keeping them warm.
The pass-through oven UF TS with TwinDisplay is based on the standard heating oven UFplus. The pass-through drying oven saves time during loading and reduces the risk of contamination when transporting samples.
Thanks to a lateral feed-through, the curing of lead frames and adhesive bonds or the tempering of components can be automatically controlled during the ongoing production process. Clocked part loading is performed via a lateral belt infeed and outfeed. Upon request, deflection rollers can be installed in the interior to accelerate throughput in case of continuous feeding.

The UNpa paraffin oven enables high-precision temperature control of the paraffin embedding medium and is specially designed for absolutely reliable sample preparation in the laboratory. Since the oily residues could deposit in the finest cavities, the working chamber of the UNpa paraffin ovens is almost gas-tight. This ensures that any possible ignition of residues or damage to components is avoided in all cases.
At the same time, there is no exchange of air with the environment due to the almost gas-tight interior. The advantages of the extensive all-round heating of Memmert ovens come into their own here: Even without forced air circulation, the perfect interaction of control and heating ensures unsurpassed temperature homogeneity and stability.

Sterilisation of vessels and instruments in the laboratory is safer than disinfection: In the Memmert hot-air sterilisers S, the setpoint-dependent program continuation via the SetpointWAIT function ensures that the sterilisation time is precisely adhered to. Thus, highly resistant micro-organisms can be destroyed completely. When the SetpointWAIT function is activated, the holding time only begins when the temperature has been reached within a very narrow tolerance band at all measuring points.
The Memmert hot-air sterilisers are classified as medical products of Class IIb. The devices are used for sterilisation of medical materials using dry heat through hot air at atmospheric pressure. They are also fully suitable for the special case of depyrogenisation by hot air.
The Memmert hot-air sterilisers meet the strict requirements for quality assurance and can be validated without any problems - above all because of the SetpointWAIT function. The temperature can ideally be measured directly on the load in the interior. In addition, the appliances document the course of the process completely and seamlessly.

The vacuum oven VO is a powerful device for particularly fast drying. Digital pressure control, directly heated, separately controllable thermoshelves and simple programming ensure gentle drying and precise, fast temperature control.
The so-called Multi-Level-Sensing & Heating from Memmert stands for intelligent direct heating. Individually placeable thermoshelves with integrated large-area heating and separate sensor technology enable very short heating and process times. The separate control loops react precisely to different loads or humidity levels and maintain the set temperature evenly. Due to the direct contact between heating and load, there is virtually no heat loss. Each thermoshelf can be calibrated individually.
Digitally controlled vacuum cycles, in which the working chamber is ventilated at short intervals, can further reduce the drying time considerably. When vacuum drying larger quantities of powder or granulate, the vacuum cycles (which Memmert is the only manufacturer in the world to offer) prove to be a great advantage: You can set two vacuum values, between which the pressure oscillates in a controlled manner. Within a short period of time, a large amount of dry air is thus repeatedly let in, which absorbs the moisture and is immediately sucked out via the vacuum pump.
The Memmert vacuum oven VO can be optionally equipped with a speed-controlled vacuum pump. The chemically resistant Memmet vacuum pump is automatically recognised by every VO vacuum oven. Thanks to intelligent speed control, it regulates to the setpoint with high precision. Compared to uncontrolled vacuum pumps, this results in energy savings of around 70 percent; with a constant vacuum value, even higher savings are possible. The ultimate vacuum of up to 2 mbar enables a wide range of applications. Thanks to demand-oriented pump control, the membranes have a significantly increased service life. If another vacuum pump or a central vacuum supply is connected, vacuum control is achieved via solenoid valves.
Ramps with different temperature and vacuum setpoints can be easily programmed via the AtmoCONTROL software.

SingleDisplay units have one TFT display on the ControlCockpit, while TwinDisplay units have two screens.
The program functions of both versions include reading out, managing and organizing the data logger as well as saving the memory contents in various formats. Online monitoring of up to 32 connected devices is possible. If the alarm limit, which can be individually set on the ControlCockpit, is exceeded, an optical alarm is triggered. An automatic alarm message can be sent to one or more e-mail addresses.
The TwinDISPLAY offers additional functions, such as intuitive programming and archiving of ramps and program sequences or synchronous visualization of the created program sequence during programming. An application-related repeat function (loop) can be inserted at any position within a tempering program. In addition, repeating weekly programs can be easily created and programs can be managed and transferred via Ethernet interface or USB port.
Air exchange rates and ventilation flap position can be controlled electronically. With a larger air inlet and outlet opening, a higher air throughput is achieved and thus shorter drying times. For many applications a controlled setting of the ventilation is recommended or even mandatory. If powder, sand or grain is being dried, undesirable turbulence can be avoided by reducing the ventilation. For other applications though, for example when testing cables or pipes, defined air exchange rates are mandatory. With the UFplus/UFmplus units, temperature/air exchange ramps can be easily programmed using the AtmoCONTROL software.
