Vacuum pumps
Vacuum pumps are used e.g. for filtration, sampling or evacuation. Due to their compact and closed housing, they run very quietly and can be placed anywhere in the laboratory. The housing is usually made of PVC or aluminium. Both the pump itself and the hose are corrosion-resistant.
Valve-controlled vacuum pumps from Heidolph - Rotavac Valve Tec and Rotavac Valve Control
The Rotavac Valve Tec and Rotavac Valve Control models are suitable for all Hei-VAP models. The vacuum control can be valve-controlled or via the manual vacuum regulator. A vacuum valve is necessary if the vacuum pump is to be combined with the Hei-VAP expert Control/Hei-VAP Ultimate Control. With the Rotavac Valve Control model, the vacuum pump can be switched on and off as required via the switchbox.
Speed-controlled vacuum pumps from Heidolph - Rotavac Vario Tec and Rotavac Vario Control
The Rotavac Vario Tec and Rotavac Vario Control models are suitable for Hei-VAP Expert Control / Ultimate Control models (direct control via rotary evaporator). Rotavac Vario Tec is recommended for solvents in the low to medium boiling temperature range. The Rotavac Vario Control model achieves a very good ultimate vacuum even with the gas ballast valve open when working with easily condensable vapours. Evaporation of high boilers such as DMF or DMSO at low temperatures is thus made possible.
Water jet filter pumps
Due to their constant pressure and high pumping speed, water jet pumps are used to extract liquids and create a vacuum. An adapter provides versatile connection options and variable use of the pump.
