Merck Millipore Millex Filters
Millex® syringe filters are specially designed for reliable filtration of small volumes (1 mL to 200 mL). The filters are available in diameters of 4, 13, 25, 33 and 50 mm. Minimal retention volume ensures less sample loss with small volumes. This makes the filters ideal for solutions such as antibiotics and tissue culture additives. 33-mm Millex filters have a 20% larger filter area than 25-mm filters, allowing for significantly higher flow rates and throughput. With a maximum housing pressure of 150 psig (10 bar), solutions can be filtered faster. A variety of membranes and housings ensure chemical compatibility with a wide range of samples and solvents.
