2. Collection and processing of personal data as well as nature and purpose of their use

a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.analytics-shop.com, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information will be collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • date and time of access,
  • name and URL of the file requested
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
  • the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The data mentioned are processed by us for the following purposes:

  • ensuring a smooth connection of the website,
  • ensuring comfortable use of our website,
  • Evaluation of system security and stability as well
  • for further administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you.

In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. Further details can be found under no. 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.

b) When registering for our newsletter

If, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, you have expressly consented, we use your e-mail address to regularly send you our newsletter. For the receipt of the newsletter the indication of an e-mail address is sufficient.

The unsubscription is possible at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively you can also send your unsubscribe request to info@analytics-shop.com by e-mail.

c) When using our contact form

For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided on the website. It is necessary to provide a name and a valid e-mail address so that we know who the request came from and to answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

The data processing for the purpose of contacting us is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR based on your voluntarily granted consent.

d) Upon registration

On our website, we offer you the opportunity to register by providing personal information. The data entered will be transmitted to us and processed. A transfer of data to third parties does not take place. The following data may be collected during the registration process:

You can place orders through our website once you have registered. In the case of an order via our website, we collect and store the following data:

  • salutation, first name and name,
  • Company name (optional),
  • E-mail address,
  • billing and delivery address,
  • Phone number
  • Fax (optional)

The data mentioned are processed by us for the following purposes:

  • to process your order,
  • for correspondence with you in the context of the order,
  • for invoicing,
  • to settle possible liability claims as well as the assertion of any claims against you,
  • to manage our customer data.

The processing of data for the purpose of order processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR based on your voluntarily granted consent.

The personal data collected by us for the processing of your order will be stored until the expiration of the statutory retention obligation and then deleted, unless we are under Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR are obliged to store for a longer period of time due to tax and commercial requirements for storage and documentation (HGB, StGB or AO) or you are obliged to make further storage in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR have consented.

f) When using the chat

Our website optionally offers the use of Tawk.to. This is a live service from Tawk.to ltd, Old Town, Riga. Via a plugin, the chat is integrated in the source code of our website. By using the chat you automatically use the services of Tawk.to. The data collected includes: chat history, IP address at the time of the chat, and country of origin. These data will not be disclosed to third parties and are for protection and internal statistics only. By using the chat, you agree that you agree. The data collected by the Tawk.to technologies will not be used to personally identify the visitor to this website. They are not saved and will be deleted after the chat.

3. Disclosure of data

A transfer of your personal data from us to third parties will be made exclusively to the service partners involved in the execution of the contract, such as the logistics company commissioned with the delivery and the credit institution responsible for payment matters.

However, in the case of the disclosure of your personal data to third parties, the scope of the data transmitted is limited to the minimum required.

a) Payment by Paypal

If you decide in the context of your order process for a payment with the online payment service PayPal, your contact details will be sent to PayPal within the order thus triggered. PayPal is an offer from PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. PayPal assumes the role of an online payment service provider as well as a trustee and offers buyer protection services.

The personal data transmitted to PayPal are usually first name, last name, address, telephone number, IP address, e-mail address, or other data required for order processing, as well as data related to the order such as number of items, article number, invoice amount and percent taxes, billing information, etc.

This submission is necessary to process your order using the payment method you have selected, in particular to confirm your identity, to administer your payment and the customer relationship.

Depending on the payment method selected via PayPal, e.g. invoice or direct debit, the personal data transmitted to PayPal are transmitted by PayPal to credit reference agencies. This transfer is used to verify the identity and credit rating of the order you have placed. b) Payment by credit card

If you decide in the context of your order process for a payment by credit card, the payment is processed via the payment service provider ConCardis (Concardis GmbH, Helfmann Park 7, 65760 Eschborn, Germany) (https://www.concardis.com/de-en/about-concardis), we will share your information provided during the ordering process with information about your order. The forwarding of your data takes place exclusively for the purpose of the payment transaction with the payment service provider ConCardis.

A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned above does not take place.

We only share your personal information with third parties if:

  • You, according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, have given express consent to this
    or
  • the processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR is required for the fulfillment of a contract or for the performance of pre-contractual measures (e.g. request for quotation)

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malicious software.

A cookie collects information depending on the device you use. However, this does not mean that we are immediately aware of your identity.

5. Tools and services from external providers

a) Tracking tools

The tracking tools listed below and used by us are based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. With the tracking measures to be used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as justified within the meaning of the aforementioned article.

i) Google Analytics

For the purpose of customizing and continually optimizing our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.com/intl/en/about/) (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereafter "Google"). In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see point 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as

will be transferred to a Google server in Europe or the US and stored there. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data in the order. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with any other data provided by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized, so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

ii) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

To statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website, we also use Google conversion tracking. In doing so, Google Adwords will set a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad.

These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Every Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers receive the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the required setting of a cookie - for example, via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com". b) reCAPTCHA

To protect input forms on our website, we use the Google Inc. reCAPTCHA service (https://www.google.com/intl/en/about/) (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ; hereafter "reCAPTCHA"). Through the use of this service, it can be distinguished whether the corresponding input is of human origin or abused by automated machine processing.

To our knowledge the referrer URL, the IP address, the behavior of the website visitors, information about operating system, browser and duration, cookies, presentation instructions and scripts, the input behavior of the user as well as mouse movements in the area of ​​the "reCAPTCHA" checkbox are transmitted to Google.

Among other things, Google uses this information to digitize books and other print products, as well as to optimize services such as Google Street View and Google Maps.

The IP address submitted through reCAPTCHA will not be merged with other data provided by Google unless you are logged in to your personal Google Account when using the reCAPTCHA plug-in. If you want to stop this transmission and storage of data about you and your behavior on our website by Google, you must log out of Google, before you visit our site or use the reCAPTCHA plugin.

c) Trusted Shops

The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website to display the Trusted Shops services (e.g. Trustbadge and collected reviews) as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order.

This is necessary to safeguard our legitimate prevailing interests in an optimal marketing by ensuring the safety of your purchase according to Article 6 (1) f GDPR. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer of the Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany with whom we are jointly responsible for data protection pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR. In the following, we inform you about the essential contractual contents pursuant to Art. 26 (2) DSGVO within the scope of this data protection notice.

The Trustbadge is made available by a USA-based CDN provider (Content-Delivery-Network). An adequate level of data protection is ensured by standard data protection clauses and other contractual measures. When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically saves a server log file which contains, for example, your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call. The IP address is anonymized immediately after collection so that the stored data cannot be assigned to your person. The anonymized data is used in particular for statistical purposes and for error analysis. After order completion, your email address, which is hashed by cryptological one-way function, is transmitted to Trusted Shops GmbH. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. This serves to check whether you are already registered for services with Trusted Shops GmbH and is therefore necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops' overriding legitimate interests in the provision of the Buyer Protection linked to the specific order in each case and the transactional evaluation services pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If this is the case, further processing will be carried out in accordance with the contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops. If you have not yet registered for the services, you will be given the opportunity to do so for the first time. Further processing after registration also depends on the contractual agreement with Trusted Shops GmbH. If you do not register, all transmitted data will be automatically deleted by Trusted Shops GmbH and a personal reference is then no longer possible.  

Trusted Shops uses service providers in the areas of hosting, monitoring and logging. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation. Processing may take place in third countries (USA and Israel). An adequate level of data protection is ensured in the case of the USA by standard data protection clauses and further contractual measures, and in the case of Israel by an adequacy decision.

Within the framework of the joint responsibility existing between us and Trusted Shops GmbH, if you have any data protection questions and wish to assert your rights, please prefer to contact Trusted Shops GmbH using the contact options provided in the data protection information linked above. Irrespective of this, however, you can always contact the responsible person of your choice. Your inquiry will then, if necessary, be forwarded to the other responsible party for a response. 

d) Use of YouTube with enhanced privacy mode

On our website, we use services (videos) from the company YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, a company of Google Inc. (Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Here we use the option provided by YouTube "- extended privacy mode -".
When you visit a page that has an embedded video, it will connect to the YouTube servers and display the content by notifying your browser on the website.

According to information provided by YouTube, in the "extended privacy mode" only data is transmitted to the YouTube server, in particular which of our internet pages you have visited when you watch the video. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information will be associated with your Membership Account on YouTube. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.

We optionally provide (with consent) the use of tawk.to, an online chat. This is a live service provided by Tawk.to ltd, Old Town, Riga). The chat is integrated into the source code of our website via a plugin. By using the chat you automatically use the services of tawk.to. The data collected includes: chat history, IP address (anonymized) at the time of the chat and country of origin. This data is not passed on to third parties and is only used for protection and internal statistics. By using the chat you agree with this. The data collected with tawk.to technologies are not used to personally identify the visitor to this website. They are not saved and will be deleted after the chat. 6. Rights of the data subject

  • in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can provide information on the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed, the planned retention period, the right to rectification, deletion, limitation of processing or opposition, the existence of a right to complain, the source of their data, if not collected from us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where appropriate, meaningful information about their details;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, immediately demand the correction of incorrect or complete personal data stored with us;
  • in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims is required;
  • to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, as far as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you reject their deletion and instead demand the restriction of the use of personal data;
  • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data provided to us in a structured, standard and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another person responsible;
  • according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your once given consent to us at any time. As a result, we are not allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent for the future and
  • to complain to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or work or our company headquarters.

7. Right to object

If your personal data are based on legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR are processed, you have the right to file an objection against the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct mail. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which is implemented by us without specifying any particular situation.

8. Data security

We use the popular SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method within the site visit, in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. In general, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we'll use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a single page of our website is encrypted is shown by the closed representation of the key or lock icon in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. The liability of the person who only links to the respective publication is excluded. We are only responsible for third-party references when we receive information from them, also from any illegal or criminal content, have positive knowledge and it is technically possible and reasonable for us to prevent their use.

This privacy policy is up to date and is valid as of February 2022.
