Description
Graphitized black carbon offers unique selectivity and very low adsorption for alcohol analysis. Two types of CarboBlack supports are available: CarboBlack B and CarboBlack C.
CarboBlack B, with its larger surface area, can hold up to 10% of a silicone-free liquid phase.
CarboBlack C can hold up to 1% of a silicone-free liquid phase.
Many CarboBlack packs loaded with Carbowax 20M are available.
CarboBlack packs are treated with KOH or picric acid for basic or acidic compounds, and special loadings for alcoholic beverages are available.
CarboBlack supports offer similar resolution and retention to Carbopack and Carbograph supports.
