The Thermo Scientific™ Acclaim™ HILIC-1 column with mixing mode combines all the advantages of reversed phase (RP) and hydrophilic interactive liquid chromatography (HILIC) in one column. The highly efficient silica-based mixed-mode stationary phase consists of a hydrophobic alkyl chain with a diol group at the end. The hydrophobic moiety provides reverse phase retention and the terminal diol group facilitates hydrophilic interactions. This combination provides tunable selectivity with unmatched resolution and peak symmetry for a variety of polar and non-polar molecules.
