TMSI silylation reagent, 25 g

Use the strongest silylation substance available for carbohydrates and steroids: the Thermo Scientific™ TMSI Silylation Reagent. The silylation reagent reacts rapidly with hydroxyls and carboxylic acids, but not with amines, and is particularly suitable for multiderivatization schemes for compounds containing both hydroxyl and amino groups. TMSI can be used for derivatization of alcohols, phenols, organic acids, hormones, glycols, nucleotides, and narcotics, and is excellent for C1-C5 fatty acids in serum and urine.
