With the testo 420 volume flow hood for larger air inlets and outlets, you can quickly and precisely comply with hygienic guidelines and specifications for indoor air quality. It provides reliable support when calculating the total volume flow in HVAC systems, for example in hospitals, office buildings or commercial buildings.

The volume flow is often measured at twist outlets. Due to the turbulent air at these outlets, the air flows are often measured incorrectly.
These measurement errors can be significantly reduced with the testo 420 volume flow hood. The integrated volume flow straightener calms the turbulence and changes it into an almost even air flow. It thus precisely calculates the volume flow in the range of 40 … 4,000 m3/h.

The volume flow measuring hood with ergonomic handles and tilting display has a unique weight of less than 2.9 kg. This means that frequent volume flow calculations in large rooms and measurements above head height can be carried out safely and conveniently. A large measuring button on the volume flow measuring hood ensures easy recording of the measured values. The hood has dimensions of 610 x 610 mm. For additional ceiling outlets, we offer additional hoods as accessories. For air inlets and outlets that are particularly high up, using our optional tripod helps. It can be pushed up to 3.3 meters.
The construction of the volume flow hood is quick and easy thanks to tension rods. The trolley included in the scope of delivery ensures safe transport.
