A filter paper for medium-fast filtration to retain medium to small sized particles. It is used in many routine analytical applications in various industries, e.g. in food testing to determine fat content or the removal of carbon dioxide or turbidity in beer analysis.

Advantages

• Time saved in quadrant folding circles to mount conical filter funnels for repetitive or multiple analyses.
• Reduced overall filtration time due to the additional exposed surface; the normal slowing of filtration speed due to particle loading is postponed.
• Increased overall loading capacity as more filter area is available.
• Consistent flow rate due to the reduction of filter paper contact with the funnel side and the self-supporting shape of the filter itself.
• The pre-folding does not significantly affect the specifications and the same figures can be used for the flat circles.
