WHEATON® Glass Bottles

WHEATON offers an extensive line of glass bottles. A large part of the bottles are made of USP Type III soda-lime glass, which has excellent chemical resistance and is well suited for storing mild acids, alkalis, solvents, alcohols, oils as well as aqueous solutions. On the other hand, they are not suitable for active hydrocarbons and bleaching agents. The other major part of WHEATON's glass bottles is made of USP type I borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass has high chemical resistance and is the least reactive glass. Type I glass can be used for storing acidic, neutral as well as alkaline products. In addition, injection water, unbuffered products, chemicals, sensitive products and those products that need to be sterilized are usually stored in borosilicate glass containers.

WHEATON glass vials are available in a variety of designs for a wide range of applications: in clear glass, amber glass or safety-coated glass; with wide or narrow openings, with or without lids, etc.

WHEATON® caps and closures

For WHEATON glass bottles and plastic bottles, the manufacturer offers matching caps, lids, stoppers and closures in a wide variety of designs. There are flanged caps made of aluminum, open or closed with matching septa, screw caps made of polypropylene or PTFE, rubber stoppers and many more.
