CORTECS Shield RP18 columns offer complementary selectivity to C8 and C18 stationary phases. The embedded carbamate group in the ligand of the bound phase provides an alternative selectivity, especially for phenolic compounds compared to straight-chain alkyl columns. The morphology of the solid core particles provides high efficiency and lower back pressure compared to fully porous particles of similar size.
