Stirring units and their applications
Laboratory stirrers are the ideal tool for powerful stirring and guarantee excellent mixing results even in the most demanding applications. Electronic agitators are particularly suitable for applications with very strong viscosity fluctuations. The set speed on these stirrers remains constant even under extreme conditions. All results are reproducible and a torque display makes every change in viscosity visible on the display of the laboratory stirrer.
Mechanical laboratory stirrers, on the other hand, are ideal for all standard applications. These laboratory mixers are particularly suitable for fast and reliable stirring tasks where reproducibility is not required. Under extremely high loads, the speed of the stirrers is not always kept constant. The stirring blades ensure optimum mixing results, whether for standard or complex applications.
When using a laboratory stirrer, the right choice of stirring tool is essential. These differ in the type of flow they cause in the medium, the speed-dependent application range and their design for different viscosities.
IKA Stirrers
The stirrers of IKA® provide the perfect solution to all of your laboratory stirring and mixing needs, from lower to higher viscosities. They process stirring quantities up to 200 liters. The overhead stirrers stand out which include: electronic safety circuit, push through agitator shaft, digital display, two speed ranges, and the ability to control the rheological changes and monitor all parameters using labworldsoft® software. Additionally, there are several other special features available, such as microprocessor controlled speed technology, removable wireless controller and a digital error display. IKA® equipment meets CE standards and fulfils international safety regulations.
IKA® further advances its’ mixing technology by offering the first overhead stirrers with wireless technology. Additionally, it comes equipped with the new online update function (only control version), your device is always up-to-date.
The display shows torque, temperature, timer, speed and PC connectivity. Additionally, several other parameters can be set such as language, background, brightness, sound, etc.
The wireless controller can be separated from the overhead stirrer. This allows for working in a fume hoodor safety cabinet without lifting the protective screen, which in turn helps protect the user from toxic materialexposure in addition to preserving sample integrity.
