Wear the Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ Adjustable Polycarbonate Face Shield over safety glasses. With an optically transparent window made from 1.5 mm (1/16 inch) thick polycarbonate, this face shield provides protection against impact as well as protection against UV radiation in the range of 200 to 360 nm. It is useful in germicidal procedures as well as when reading chromatographic/ electrophoretic strips and gels. Complies with US standards OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 and ANSI Z87.1-1989 for use with blood-borne pathogens.
