Choose from aluminum and magnetic tinplate caps with general purpose silicone/PTFE septa with various hardness values to reduce problems with autosampler needles. Easily apply and remove crimp caps with Thermo Scientific™ manual or electronic crimping pliers and decappers.

Features of the SureSTART 20 mm level 3 flare seal

Level 3 closures are specifically designed and treated for mass spectrometry applications and contain the lowest concentrations of metals, extractables and caustics to ensure consistent, reproducible sensitivity and selectivity for the most demanding analytes

Level 3 SureSTART 20 mm crimp caps feature high temperature septa which can be heated to over 250 °C without excessive softening of the septum or release of volatile vapors thanks to a special silicone formulation.
