A thick, prepleated filter paper with high loading capacity. Combines medium retention with a medium to fast filtration speed. Saves time needed to quadrant fold circles to fit conical filter funnels during repeated or multiple analyses. Reduction in overall filtration time due to additional exposed surface area; the normal slowing of filtration rate due to particle loading is delayed. Increased overall loading capacity as more filter area is available. Maintained flow rate due to the reduction of the contact of the filter paper with the funnel side and the self-supporting shape of the filter itself. The pre-folding does not significantly affect the technical data and the same values ​​can be used for the flat circles. Time-saving qualitative Whatman grades are offered in this convenient form which offers great advantages over flat circles.
